Juan A. Bogliaccini, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Sociólogo. Magíster en Política Educativa. Candidato doctoral en Ciencia Política por la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Chapel Hill. Su investigación se centra en el área de economía política comparada; en particular modelos de capitalismo, Estados de bienestar y políticas redistributivas. Trabaja en la comparación de las regiones de América Latina (en específico Cono Sur) y Europa Continental y Mediterránea.

Fernando Filgueira, Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas

Sociólogo. Ph.D. por la Northwestern University. Ha contribuido con publicaciones en temas que hacen al desarrollo social de su país natal, Uruguay, y América Latina. Actualmente se desempeña como Representante Auxiliar del Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA) en Uruguay; fue Oficial de Asuntos Sociales, en la División de Desarrollo Social de la CEPAL en Chile, en donde coordinó el Panorama Social de América Latina. Ha sido director del área de Gestión y Evaluación del Estado, en la Oficina de Planeamiento y Presupuesto de la Presidencia de la República del Uruguay, y Coordinador Académico del Programa de Investigación sobre Exclusión Social, Pobreza e Integración Social de la Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
