Patricia Bachiller, Universidad de Zaragoza

Es actualmente profesora del Departamento de Contabilidad y Finanzas de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad de Zaragoza (España). Cursó la carrera de Administración y Dirección de Empresas, especialidad Finanzas, en dicha universidad; realizó un máster en Gestión Bancaria y Mercados Financieros y un diplomado de especialización en Contabilidad y Auditoría de las Administraciones Públicas Territoriales. Forma parte del grupo de investigación Gespública, especializado en temas de Contabilidad, Auditoría y Gestión Pública. Sus líneas de investigación se centran en la privatización de empresas de servicios públicos y sus consecuencias sobre la eficiencia y la calidad. Defendió en marzo de 2009 su tesis doctoral "Análisis de eficiencia y calidad de las empresas privatizadas en Europa". Ha publicado varios trabajos tanto en revistas nacionales como internacionales, entre los que destacan los estudios "Performance and Capital Structure of Privatized Firms in Europe", en Global Economic Review, y "Effect of Ownership on Efficiency in Spanish Companies", en Management Decision, revistas incluidas recientemente en Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
